Two days of rain not heavy enough to flood but enough to give some drought relief.

:colorwave

It had been well over two months and mind this is supposed to be a rainforest.
I'll walk you out in the morning dew, my honey
I guess it doesn't matter anyway

Good to hear your power is back on Sue
Did you lose any food that was in your fridge?
I remember back towards the end of the summer in 2020
Our fridge died, lucky enough we have a freezer on our back porch which I was able to save most of our frozen food in
I’ll tell ya it was no fun living out of coolers with ice until we bought a new fridge
Glad you’re back and in running order

I'm grateful that when it really matters family can put differences of political opinion aside and we were all able to come together this weekend to scatter my late sister-in-law's ashes in Lake Superior, with Ripple playing from the shore. Lots of forgiveness, good memories and re-bonding, a truly special time and I'm very thankful for it and for her. :bigheart

Very thankful that tropical storm Hilary is done with us and that the coinciding earthquake was only a 5.1. Sunday coulda been a lot worse.

That I cut back to 36 hours over a year ago....and only work Monday thru Thursday 9 hour days...so I have every Friday off instead of every other Friday off

It's 1 more day that I don't have to wear long pants or socks or pretend that I give a rats ass about work

Thankful for a 4 day labor day weekend...although it's a tough weekend for me as my it marks 25 years that my dad passed at 67 & 5 years that my buddy Rick passed at 57...and 4 years since I had to put my 11 1/2 yr old black lab down

Thankful that in the 5 years since my buddy Rick passed that we have welcomed 3 beautiful granddaughters into our lives :sunshine

After a rain soaked May, through most of July, it's finally summer here. Hit 93° today. Also a few hours into a four day weekend. Enjoy what you can kids✌

After a pathetic 1-11 campaign last year, my beloved Buffs win on the road ( 20.5 point dog) at #17 TCU. Sanders at qb set a record for passing efficiency and yardage for a first time starter. If they shore up their defense, might be a fun autumn in the Devils playground.
