RIP 1st Bank Center

Saw some great shows there; Dylan, Furthur, Dead and CO are amongst the best I saw. Hard to compete with newer venues in Denver and it was a solid hour's drive from my house (yes. I am spoiled). Took me a bit longer to get there and back for the Furthur (Or was it D&C?) blizzard show. :rofl

What a bummer!! I have some very, very fond memories of both Furthur and DeadCo there. Definitely the smallest venue in which I ever had the pleasure to see the latter. Mickey played two beams that night: his own and the metal ceiling beams that I thought were vibrating so much the whole place would come down. Thanks for the memories, First Bank!

Furthur christened the building. That February of '13 blizzard was insane. To bad, a great venue with an above average sound system, plus I could bus in and it would drop me off right outside the front doors.
