...Well, ok folks, after soaring out of the gate with a couple of superb opening shows in L.A., Dead & Company make their way East on I-10 with a mid-week amphitheatre show in Phoenix, Arizona at the venue originally known as Desert Sky (and most recently Ak-Chin) Pavilion.
Personal historic Tour note: Yours truly caught the last show of the first Furthur Festival on 8/4/96 at Desert Sky; hard to believe that was now 27 years ago, but am sure grateful for the experience & memories, including a surprising case of laryngitis from the 115-degree ("but it's a *dry* heat",lol) temperature...
So, remember: stay properly hydrated, especially if you're at the show or if you're hangin' here on Terrapin Nation, enjoying Show #3/29 of the Final Tour "Couch Tour" style. Let's get on with the Show!...
