"...The Bus come by and I got on, that's when it all began...” :jester

...Well, ok folks, Dead & Company's Final Tour is officially underway and after a dandy opener last night they are seemingly already in mid-Tour form with one more Saturday night show from the Forum arena before the Tour Bus embarks on pathways due East...

Remember: the joy's in the Journey so crank up that old Victrola and put on them rockin' shoes and let's dance the night away as the Rock 'n Roll Music meets the risin', shinin' sun...:dance :listen

Thanks Chuckster
I really like that poster 8-)
Lots of action and only one teddy bear unless you count the two at the bottom hanging onto the surfboards
Dodging lions and a-wasting time
In memory of ChiefScott

My pleasure, KEZ!

And to your point re: "lots of action" riddle me this, folks:

There are 3 circles (one is above the light blue VW bus next to Skull&Roses) with illustrations inside of each. The one to the far left appears to be a...refrigerator?! The one above the aforementioned light blue VW bus kinda looks like a bread loaf (???), sliced at the front (either that or a block of cream cheese, lol), and the one to the far right is...a block of meat? (granted it doesn't really look like cold cut meat, lol). Obviously what makes things difficult is the loss of resolution/clear detail...

But does someone/anyone mind enlightening me just exactly what the hell are those 3 illustrated items, and what the hell are their collective & respective meanings? :think Is this some kind of homage to the Kind Grilled Cheese sandwiches we used to sling on GD Tour in years past???* (& still being slung today).

*Hey, full disclosure: my Fall '88 East Coast Tour was in no small way subsidized by slinging Kind Grilled Cheese (& as well as breakfast made on our Coleman camp stove) on Shakedown and particularly in FDR Park in Philadelphia where we were allowed to camp for 4 shows over 5 days across the street at the old Spectrum...:D

Ahhh…. The old days in Philly when the circus was in town
Lots of great memories in FDR park Chuckster and not for just Dead shows
Definitely a fridge on the left, yup a loaf of bread and I’m not sure about the one on the right
Dodging lions and a-wasting time
In memory of ChiefScott

That poster may be a tribute to the touring lifestyle, what with those food items and all those VW buses.

In any event, it's good to read those memories of the Spectrum. That was my home base and I saw dozens of Dead shows there. It was always a great lot scene, even if some of the locals didn't take too kindly to Deadheads.

Those pesky musical alien encounters. I feel like I might have been probed last night :rofl Makes me quivers, shiver, and turns my jam into 'dem jelly roll blues, Dupree. Keep your eyes on the road, and if they don't like your driving, then stay off the sidewalks. Grateful attention to detail. You should be in middle management by this juncture of your career. I know people, which is not a favorable reference for your resume. Wait, what was the topic?

OK, I need some good music to bring me back down after watching Cocaine Bear. It was a fun, campy movie, but for some reason I feel very jittery now.

Hey Boo-boo, I did to much blow and have no interest in the pic-a-nic basket. I remember when that actually happened, but whoa, talking about artistic interpretation. Where's Paulie Walnuts ( RIP) when you need him?
