just exactly perfect GD/Cosmic *sense* as "
Terrapin Station" was the then-current record the GD were drawing upon in Spring '77 (following its' "Official" debut in San Bernardino a few months prior in February '77)...
So, there ya go...

...Same old, rat in a drain ditch...

And it was in heavy FM radio rotation in the Detroit area because of Dancin' in the Streets, which got this high schooler on the bus!!

Actually the first time I saw Terrapin was under similar circumstances. It was April of '77 at the Spectrum and the entire second set was on fire. The whole thing finished with an exquisite version of Terrapin and that was it. No encore. They'd simply played too long! Still the best Terrapin I ever saw.
