I’d to have agree with Sue
WRS/Let It Grow is one song
Never to be performed separately
It’s a masterpiece about seasons changing
Summer end to black dirt live again
The wind and rain
Dodging lions and a-wasting time
In memory of ChiefScott

So I have an earthshattering issue to discuss. Whenever Bob/DeadCo do the full Weather Report Suite, they, of course, always do the final segment of the Suite, Let It Grow. I've generally only listed that as "Weather Report Suite". But on the bands' lists they seem to list it as two separate tunes, "Weather Report Suite>Let It Grow".

I think it's one tune, not two, and should be listed that way on setlists. Or am I just being way to picky about this and it's better to have Let It Grow listed out as well as WRS?? :think :ugeek:
Actually it should be 3 songs lol

WRS Prelude
WRS Part 1
Let It Grow

But I agree, when there is a "suite" in the title it seems it should includ all associated songs as one song :smileys-passing-joint
I bought the sheet music for this back in the seventies. 3 parts … prelude, part 1, I assumed let it grow was part two.
Bobby composed it as one piece.
Please search YouTube for ; Bob Weir - weather report suite - acoustic demo.
This is how he presented it the guys.
