So I have an earthshattering issue to discuss. Whenever Bob/DeadCo do the full Weather Report Suite, they, of course, always do the final segment of the Suite, Let It Grow. I've generally only listed that as "Weather Report Suite". But on the bands' lists they seem to list it as two separate tunes, "Weather Report Suite>Let It Grow".

I think it's one tune, not two, and should be listed that way on setlists. Or am I just being way to picky about this and it's better to have Let It Grow listed out as well as WRS??

However, it is listed that way on the album Wake of the Flood, so do what you want but the appropriate tiles remain. Actually it is listed as Weather Report Suite: Intro. Parts 1 and Parts 2 My guess it was just easier.

Sue brings up an interesting question and I think I answered it but without clarity. Back in the day when everyone was using Cassettes to tape shows there was a lot of heads who just started abbreviating based on plug ins from Dan Healey and they followed his lead.

Perry, I saw the Grateful Dead from 1977 until 1995 and I only saw the complete WRS once or maybe twice so I get you bro, but after Jerry passed they seemed to have the younger additions to the band force the issue. Then they played it a lot with the likes of The Other Ones, Further, etc. The truth was Jerry liked things simple and to him Let it Grow was a great first set closer.
