Like most here, GD is always the go to. But a fest that has GD cover band after cover band after cover band...not very appealing for these ears

And certainly not at those prices...
A $15 cover band at a small bar or small venue is 1 thing, but idk if the cost gets near $50 then there are so many bands to see in that price range...
Again YMMV...

I know NYE costs more, but usually u get something extra for it ?
If it's close enough & you don't have to travel & pay $200 & up for a room then the ticket cost is insignificant in the total cost picture...
But I hear ya and if you go out for 3 or 4 sats in Jan by not going out nye then that is certainly a viable option...
Cubensis are great. I saw them performing with John Kadlecik for
free at a bar/venue on the beach in Orange County this summer. It was a great day

New venue in Maynard, MA called “Sanctuary”. Playin Dead will be there 1/13. I’ve been seeing them for many years.
Back to Back weekend show’s to start the new year!
Probably not….but ya never know. I’ll definitely be at Maynard.
Fish are rising up like birds.
