Gosh, what fun it was checking out next year's NFL schedule and seeing the Lions have the opening night game at Kansas City. Won't that be fun?! :doh

Here's hoping I start the season with an upset! 🙏

Yeah Sue...heard. Fins have 6 road games in first 9 weeks, including Germany. WTF.

Big 7 game tonight in Boston. Hope it’s a close one. LFG !!

After that lackluster performance by the Warriors in round 2, will the Nuggets throw round 3 to put LeBron and the 7th seed Lakers back in the finals?? A high school coach could have done a better job with the Warriors starting lineups and substitutions LOL. Maybe Hi Ho Silver and the NBA thinks King James can restore it’s diminished tv audience.

King James + old hyped-up Celtics vs Lakers “rivalry” = more eyeballs for the NBA finals

How many more playoff games do TNT and ESPN need before Denver and Miami roll over? Hi Ho Silver and the players union could at least make the scores a little closer to keep it interesting FFS !!!

Does anyone know what Ja Morant is or is not thinking?

Also, it doesn't matter now, but this was interesting statement from game 6.

Well I was noticing the other night, for instance, that when I'm going through pistachios, opening pistachios, that the hard to open ones, I don't bother with them anymore

I know you guys probably think it's petty or poor sportsmanship but you guys don't know the city of Edmonton and it's fans the way I do - everytime I had to drive past those "city of champions" signs they used to have on the way into to town. It's all in good fun up here. We take hockey pretty seriously though.

This is a team that had four first overall draft picks in the just in the 2010s alone. My team has never had one in it's entire 50+ year history.

Did anyone see Ekholm's tirade at the officials after he cross-checked the Vegas guy face first into the boards? And then he whined about it the rest of the game. That's the Edmonton Oilers.

So I get it. Even computer analytics were picking the Oilers to raise Lord Stanley's mug this year with the regular season they had and the best powerplay by far going into the playoffs, it really looked like their year and I understand completely how they could be favoured. But as an ex-goaltender, I knew how weak they were at that position and how vulnerable they were to defensive mistakes.

I figured a disciplined team with a good defence and work ethic and good goaltending could beat them.

Most of all I had faith in the Oilers themselves. No matter what everyone else was saying about them, I never doubted them for a moment. I knew they could do it again this year and I was with them all the way. :jumpeveryone

Maybe next year, as they say......over and over.

No cup coming home again this year, sigh. It would have been bittersweet at best if it was Edmonton though

Best of luck to everyone left. With no dog in the race, my congrats to whoever wins. I suppose upstart Florida would make a nice story.

I'm guessing there'll be a noticeable shakeup in Edmonton during the off season. Kinda of deflects away from the Avs taking that hot steamer in the first round. Game seven in Dallas tonight has great potential for being a riveting series closer.

Bring back the rats🐀The Oilers pp got throttled in the last half of that series. That was their bread and butter this whole sesaon. Kinda like the Avs lack of depth was exposed against Seattle. I'm guessing Sakic is livid after their early exit. Package up a trade for a second line centerman, and it'll be game on for next years Cup run.

The 76ers fired Doc Rivers today
With the loss on Sunday marks the 10th time he’s lost a 7 games series, he’s 5th in a row
Goodbye Doc 👋
