Re: I am going through sports withdrawal
So four plays and Rodgers is out. I feel terrible for the Jets fans who had so much hope for this season, but frankly, I'm disgusted by the Jets management that went all-in on a QB who hadn't performed well the last three years. I'm sorry Aaron had this happen, but it was still a stupid football move to construct an entire team around his preferences at this stage of his career.

I had no reason to be pissed off by your opinion whatsoever. Have a grateful day✌I'llflyaway wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 10:52 amI guess. I'm pretty political by nature but I've managed to keep my opinions and concerns over what is going on to myself here for the most part - of which I'm kind of proud. Inappropriate for this forum and I have no desire to piss off the Deadheads. If that happens, you know.....I'llgetupandflyaway....strangerinboulder wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 12:32 am
Can't take life to seriously, because in the long run, it's just gonna kill you. It's all good free therapy. I try
to keep it above the belt, most of the times. GO PACK!
I played a lot of sports when I was a kid so I love the competition but I'm pretty ambivalent about the big business of sport the way it has evolved today. Still have some brand loyalty to a couple of the logos though![]()

Re: I am going through sports withdrawal
Last night the Jets defense looked very strong. Except for one position, the whole team looks improved. Which explains why an ayahuasca toking EX MVP seemed like a strong move. At least until the 4th play of last night game. After watching Zack Wilson play for the last two years, uh… every time he goes back to pass, Zack scares me. Are there any decent QB’s out there? Former starters Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan and ex-Jet Joe Flacco are unsigned free agents. Former Packers backup Tim Boyle is on the Jets practice squad. Next week the Jets play Dallas, so we will find out just how strong this defense really is. Since Joe Willie hung up his dancing shoes, the Jets have been looking for a decent QB. The search continues.SunshineSue wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 12:05 pmSo four plays and Rodgers is out. This prime Thursday stuff sucks donkey butt.

Well I was noticing the other night, for instance, that when I'm going through pistachios, opening pistachios, that the hard to open ones, I don't bother with them anymore

Not that I'm dialed into the NFL this early in the season but I am dying to watch the highlights and figure out how the Dolphins put 70 point up against Denver.

Go Hawks
They almost broke the record for most points scored in a game
The Redskins in 1966 scored 72 against the NY Giants
