Black To Comm - MC5

Post by Underground Johnny » Sun Jun 23, 2019 5:48 pm

This is about as far away from the Grateful Dead as it gets. A very raw demo of a classic track by one of the greatest hard Rock & Roll bands of all time - The MC5. I felt inspired to take a crack at Black To Comm (just heard this song song for the first time last week.) I perform the vocals & instruments. I don't blame you if you don't dig this - it is rough for sure.

Wow Sunshine Sue, that is awesome!!

I love this band so much. Had them in my music collection (a couple CDs) , but they never clicked with me for some reason (like the Dead) , I got into them decades late. But at least I eventually "got it."

I have never heard a more impressive Rock & Roll band (loud and soulful) , like the MC5.

It is truly a crime that they are not better celebrated and understood.

They belong on the highest level of Rock & Roll , because they were organic and powerfully real (not an act of gimmick.)

There will never be another band like the MC5! :rockon :guitarred :bigheart
