The Humane Kind Project

There's a great organization that I've recently learned about that helps provide direct support to the homeless community in Denver while also bringing people and communities together to promote understanding between disparate groups and individuals. As they put it "Our goal is to breakdown social barriers, connecting all walks of life while supporting those in need and bringing our community together. We've created a number of projects all designed to bridge the divide between social classes, to inspire more authentic interactions with our fellow man and to uplift those in need of support. When kindness and compassion become habit, it is then that we may rest."

Humane Kind is currently trying to raise funds for a mobile donation center. You can make donations here: https://www.youcaring.com/to-provide-ho ... ter-481144

And here's Humane Kind's website: http://humanekindproject.org/

It's a great group, if you're looking for a way to give back during the holidays or anytime. There are also volunteer opportunities if you're in the Denver area. Their founder, Ken McNickle, was recently a finalist on Survivor so you may have seen some press about him in the local Denver news.
