Good to see this thread again
I do my best and I really miss having a cat as a pet
My neighbor has a gray cat with white paws
We call him gray bones
He’s an old fellow, if I had to guess….15yrs old
Every time he sees me either taking out the trash of picking up my empty cans
Even when I come home from shopping
He comes trotting up our driveway following me
Unloading the car he patiently waits on our back porch until I’m done
I always have a nice bowl of crunchies as a treat
He’s not a big fan of letting me pet him
What cat is while they’re eating
Yesterday we broke ground
I took the recyclables down the end of the driveway
Paused to look at the people repairing the sewers down the street
I turned around, and gray bones was right at my ankles and looking straight up into my eyes
Next a very cool Meow
When I fed him, I pet him softly a few times on his spine
He looked up me as if, okay Kerr that’s fine
I really miss having a cat ❤️
