I was just wondering what was up with this. I'm going to another movie theater special today (off-Broadway play Puffs) and tried looking up Dead night when I got tix for that but there wasn't anything listed. Glad there's going to be one, it's always a fun night, whatever is played! :clap

You know, 11/24/78 is about 3 hours of video. This year would be a perfect time to show that one in a theater ;)

4/17/72 or more unreleased Summer '89 would be great as well, these things are indeed always fun!

Well, here's the Meet-up info:

The complete concert recorded at John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia on July 7, 1989. This feature captures every note of the epic show, shot from an amazing “on stage” perspective. When this show was recorded, the band included guitarist Jerry Garcia, drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, bassist Phil Lesh, keyboardist Brent Mydland and guitarist Bob Weir.

Hope we get it at a drive inn again with a cover band during the daylight & dusk hours

Has been fun wandering the lot and even car hopping during the movie visiting friends

Great way to catch these yearly movies...even if i saw it in the theatre mid week, i'd catch it ar the drive inn on a sat just to hang with other deadheads....

Am I the only one who is a tittle disappointed by this pick? Not only has it been officially released for years but it was also shown at one of the first Meet up at the Movies. They must have their pick of every show of Summer 89 that we haven't seen. That said, killer show and I could watch that era of the dead all day!!
