I heard the Cumberland was just fantastic. What a set list. Keep it up boys. New pairings, unconventional open and closers....a band beyond description once again!

Totally agree! Last night felt more JRadish than DeadCo years previous. No doubt Jeff and John have made a conscious decision to take these songs in all new directions. They’re totally pushing the band. Tempo increase too.

The boys commitment to working out seems to have invigorating their playing. Tip top form. Bobby so strong vocally. He sung that Masterpiece like it was the last song he was ever gonna sing.

Totally different band than last summer.
Can’t say enough good things about last night :guitarred

It's time for another night of Dead & Company in yet another classic venue! Tonight the band is at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. Showtime is 7 pm ET, looks like the parking lot opens at 4. One of the Grateful Dead's best shows, imho, was played at SPAC on this date exactly 36 years ago and I was so happy to be in attendance. I'm betting the good vibes left by that performance will inspire the guys tonight. The race is on, so get ready for more fine music! :dance

You know you really liked the show when you are super excited about the next show. Last year I blew off Connecticut after Spac because I really wasn't feeling it. This year Spac delivered big time. Camden will probably be huge. So great to see everyone at the show. Terrapin Nation was well represented.

Aint that the truth. Last night was the best DeadCo performance I’ve attended...without question

Dr Bakes, thank you for confirming that my three friends and I in fact were not hallucinating when we all agreed there was a Playin' reprise to end the show

Great show. The band was in fine form, the weather was wonderful, the venue as always was great. One of the top Dead Co shows I have seen live. John, Jeff and Oteil are on fire (OMG O's new bass is amazing). See some of you at Gillette.

Wow, guys. I was totally blown away by my SPAC experience. This place is definitely the best music venue I've ever visited. Totally amazing vibes from the second we got there to the second we left. The air in Saratoga must have something in it that breeds positivity. I'll try to see Dead & Co at this venue every time they play there from here on out. I'd love a multi-night run at this fantastic venue! The show was GREAT! My highlights were the Stranger and Bucket openers, the Masterpiece, the Must've Been the Roses, the Shakedown, and the Wharf Rat!

Edit: I don't know if this has been discussed already, but I believe this was the first ever pre-Space Wharf Rat for this band.
