I have a hard time believing Boulder was sold out. Crowded, yes. But 31k people each night seems like a lot no matter how you analyze it.

i was told just the 2nd nite - Saturday nite was sold out...not the Friday...but the #'s are the 2 day total combined, so Friday undersold by 24K people ?

i know at citifield they prob have a higher paid attendance than the actual folks there too...a lot of folks buy both nites early on & then can't get there say on the Friday nite cuz of work, traffic, etc.

every year i see tons of citi field tix for sale on cash or trade in the days b4 & day of the show

In 1985 the GD had 40,231 at Spac.
That’s incredible. No way 10,000 of those folks even caught a glimpse of the big screen. Not that that’s a necessity. Spin baby spin

Yea I still don't know that Saturday was sold out. I know a few people who bought tickets on a whim after the concert already started. I guess it could have sold out shortly after the show started but still it didn't seem that big of a difference people-wise between Friday and Saturday.

For what it's worth. The local (Boulder) bean counter had Friday's show at 24k, + Saturday's at 34k.

I thought Saturday's was noticeable bigger. Which is odd because I was much closer, + had more room to dance than Friday's show

So 58k vs 62k is pretty close I guess. And if they say the capacity is ~ 43k then Saturday was still short of selling out by ~ 9K But then again I have a hard time thinking Friday was only half full. They probably gave up counting due to the shit storm trying to get in :whistle Or maybe math is just hard :rofl :rofl
