So Dave, were you at 9-20-93 MSG GD with Edie Brickell singing on GDTRFB and the Other One? What a great surprise for me.
Yes. This was a fun show. Though it never happened, Jerry talked about putting a band together with Edie, Branford M. & Bruce Hornsby. These shows would have consisted of entirely improvised music & lyrics. Jerry: “I had this idea of putting together a band that didn’t have any material, nothing worked out - the extreme version. Edie’s actually prepared to do this. I’ve talked to her about this.”dr bakes wrote: So Dave, were you at 9-20-93 MSG GD with Edie Brickell singing on GDTRFB and the Other One? I would love to see these but I decided another trip to CA in week was too much. I am happy to drive for long distances but I am not a fan of flying across country (I don't mind flying it's the overall hassle). I am going to Everyone Orchestra in Saratoga, Cambridge maybe and the Illuminati Orchestra in CT (Joe invited me) instead.
