So to comment on nostalga band comment...

SK does JGB tribute a couple years ago...which i loved by the way...saw a couple of those shows

People bitched..he needs to do new stuff not cover jerry

SK comes out with 2 albums of new material...which i also loved...saw like 3 of those shows

People bitched..wtf is this new stuff

Btw I think JK does nice job with blending his own material, JGB & GD tunes

And i totally agree they are both under rated and def worth seeing if they come near you

I am just not in a position right mow to travel far to see in any band...luckily there is a lot in the greater Boston > New England > New York area for me to pick & choose from

As far as people bitching...let em cry all they want. Its an absolute honor to see any of these musicians in any capacity. If peeps don’t get that, too bad for them.

Does anyone know if Alan is doing the 2nd leg :?:

Good luck Wisconsindead. Hope that you're in Vegas prepping for the show.

Oh heck yes :D Only 2 more days until Ventura :woo

Grateful Bluegrass Boys kick it off Sunday morning, followed by Melvin & JGB, then the Wingmen to close.
:crossed Really hoping for another JK + JGB monster jam like the smokin' set at the Cap on 3/02 .

for posterity... (I believe we have damn near every setlist these guys have played somewhere on this site) I still want to teach myself how to build a good database using the GGW setlists as my guide.

SET !
Cleaning Windows
Bertha
Cassidy
Tin Roof Shack
Deal
Loser
Ripple

SET 2
Nobody Told Me
Shakedown
Just Like A Woman
Seen Love
The Ladder
That's What Love Will Make You Do
Help On The Way > Slipknot (I think they played Slipknot... but not 100% sure) >
Wharf Rat
Touch Of Grey

crowd too high to clap for encore????

Thanks for the list, Mojohand! I had no intention of staying up, but they're making it hard to turn this off. :listen

I'm in it for the long haul. I love this lineup so much. Just saw them 4 east coast shows. Our trip was a lil too crazy for me to send in trip reports :jester . Shouldn't be as hard to do the west coast from home here. :rofl
