Should be a sweet solo show tonight:

Wheel to the Storm and Fly!

Well, it's Thursday...

...and as beautiful as it is on the Oregon coast today, we are sad to hear the news of the passing of Grateful Dead lyricist John Perry Barlow. I had the pleasure of meeting him a number of times, once performing "We Can Run" for him in his dining room, and will in particular miss his sharp sense of humor. Thankfully, we still have his words and the songs, and I will be dedicating tonight's show in Arcata, CA to John Barlow by playing a set of Grateful Dead songs for which he wrote words.

New JKB show added to the Colorado run

Sunday ~ 2/18/18 at a NEW Quixotes True Blue (Not Psychedelic Ripple, new new place just opened up)
Not totally sure if the Psychedelic Ripple shows are staying at Psychedelic Ripple or being moved over

I'm aiming for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
I'll stream & record whatever I make it to, though I'd guess there will be a better alternative since Blue Faerie on Mixlr seems to be streaming everything JK these days.

I heard from him earlier today, he's planning on Monday, wasn't sure about the rest.

Cool. I'm aiming for tonight, Sat, Mon, Tue. Don't worry, I've been debating about staying in my semi-retirement from streaming. The last few shows I've been to where I didn't stream have been so much more enjoyable. Once there is a stream Thursday it'll be expected the rest of the 5 shows, and enjoying the show is much more satisfying than trying to meet people's expectations. Just my 2 cents....

Anyway, I'll probably see you sometime this weekend!

Where is blue fairie from? Tours with JK I assume? I wonder if ripple and/or Rich are coming out for these?

Must be nice to get John K SIX(!) nights in a row! Fortunately he came to Cleveland in September so I can't complain.
