I'm diggin into this one today: 9/19/87 MSG. This Maggie's Farm was broadcast on Live Aid. Ha- Bob starts Other One after Maggie's, and Jerry rightly cuts him off to start Black Peter. Greedy Bobby!

I can remember my dad's tape covers for this show, with alternating colors for each letter of each song (someone was feeling artistic).

I'll be finishing my night watching this one: 9/22/87 Spectrum. I love how intent Jerry is on creating the melody in this one. Maybe it's just the :smileys-passing-joint but he is seriously creating the melody while he plays, kinda like John does in DeadCo (although he does it very animated, as he was a rock star before the Dead came around). Anyway Jer's back and strong, in great spirits, although there are quite a few clams in China Rider.

Goin thru the fall 76 tour, up next is 9/30/76 at The Ohio State University. Does it bug anyone else that "The" ALWAYS has to be in the title? lol
