That show as a whole was great. Awesome setlist and everything was just exactly perfect throughout. JK had a serious funk groove goin on around then in 2015-2016.
It was far out going through last night, I was at the show but I have a poster from JKB at the Fox just a few months later. Both dates seemed right yet wrong at the same time. I was having memories of being at the show in different locations, it took me a bit to realize they were two different nights my mind melded as one

For tonights Dark Star, I just stumbled across this. A fella I've never heard of playing a nice peaceful acoustic Dark Star

Eerie vocals. You can tell the difference when he's out there or just playing the tune.

FIRST POST! Just found Terrapin Nation.

Listening to every version of DARK STAR posted, and it's setting my mood for the day!

Just got laid off as the clinic I work at closed shop. I'm an RN, so know I'll be finding a new job sooner than I'd like, haha!

Love the KIND vibe here and know this will be my new Home for all that is forward-thinking, positive, creative, and musical! :jumpeveryone :santadance

Thanks Sue! Just enjoying this so much. Great forum board, great music, great people.

Regarding my work, doing some private duty nursing for now. Debating on whether I want to work full-time or part-time from now on. Decisions, decisions.

I was named after my grandmother and always hated my name (wanted to be called "Marcia", like Marcia Brady, haha!). Then, discovered The Beatles and all is well.

DARK STAR TAKE ME AWAY! I'm really enjoying the Dark Star from 2/2/1970 at Fox Theatre. Shroomopotamus is right, VERY eerie vocals. I've been to that theater for other shows, would've loved to have seen the Dead there. Very beautiful place.
