I kept thinking how impeccably perfect JK would be in that spot but at this stage in his career, I think he's grown beyond the role. Maybe a few one offs with Melvin would be as much as one could hope for.
Just about the perfect setlist...really enjoyable show
see how it is bro...

Trey solo was spectacular...I'm not a huge phish goer but love TAB and anyone getting down and dirty with just a chair, mic and an acoustic guitar leads to a good time...especially someone as talented as Trey. Great night

Saw Southern Soul Assembly last night. Man. Fuckn A.
You like just a voice and a guitar, this show is for you.

JJ Grey
Anders Osborne
Marc Broussard
Luther Dickinson

They just go right down the line, each playin one of their own tunes...sometimes together, sometimes solo. No setlist. Some of the songs made up on the spot. Just a silly showcase of talent. The momentum builds and builds as they keep pushing each other higher. This will probably go down as the best show of the year for these ears :guitarred

In Ann Arbor tomorrow...SUE, they're calling your name!

DSO last night. Morristown Performing Arts Center. Great venue. Rocking show - band choice last night. In fact, since I'm not doing anything next Tuesday, I do believe that I'll go to Wilmington.
