Rob is back for 1981! Nice! :clap
And with this show, for the first time since Phil started doing these,
any one of the next 14 shows could be one I attended!
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.

Very excited for this 1980 was my big year.
Turned 15 in Feb and went on my first dead tour in May 1980. Then I think I got sent away to private school but was conveniently kicked out in time for Radio City Music Hall. That was pure paradise. Then I started hanging out with Neil and we hitched to Florida in Nov. to see those shows and the Fox theatre in Atlanta. Long strange trip..... ;)
:guitarred Thank You Grateful Dead for the ride, adventure & education! :swerve

We will be in tonight like always! If for some reason she gets tired you guys will hear from me alot, otherwise, like normal I'm with you in spirit.

I picked her up a couple bottles of red wine form a local winery, and grabbed myself a six pack of this Coney Island hard rootbeer. I tried one, and now I'm not sure I'll be able to drink 5 more, a bit too sweet, but I should have figured that.

Been working 11 hours today, ready to rest my tired bones.

Webcasts are available for tonight's fan-chosen-year show, featuring Phil with Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Scott Guberman, Ezra Lipp and Alex Koford. Showtime is 8 pm. The show is free, but the webcast is the usual $7, unfortunately.
