Mexico 2019

Post by DireWolf » Thu Aug 02, 2018 1:22 pm

Anyone have any info? Last year packages went on sale about this time but this year there's still no announcement. Think they'll wait until after Lockn' or something?

Someone on .org said it will be two weekends this year Jan. 17 - 20
Jan. 31 -2/3

According to this rumor there will be a weekend off gap between the two seperate dates, hopefully meaning another Apendix-like tour would happen...

I'll be dancing on the sand in Jamaica during that time, but this should be another blast for the folks heading down there! :dance

Been keeping track of this ... have talked myself out of committing to a package right now but will see what kind of tix are on the market in Dec/Jan.

Alumni tix went on sale yesterday, pre sale today, lots, including the host hotel, sold out, despite prices starting at $2500 ...
It takes time to pick a place to go ...

There's a good chance things will sell out well before Dec/Jan, maybe even today. If you're seriously considering going it's a blast. I did notice a few packages did pop up on Cash or Trade last year though which were approved by CID. So there's a chance you could hold out.

I've heard that closer to the date, people do drop out of packages, and roommate names (not the lead guest) can be changed. So will see where I'm at then. Hopefully the stars will align ... :colorwave
