I'm too grateful to be hateful. I am too blessed to be stressed.

Dream on it. Let your mind take you to places you would like to go, and then think about it and plan it and celebrate the possibilities. And don't listen to anyone who doesn't know how to dream.

Hunter can write a melody and stuff like that, but his forte is lyrics. He can write a serviceable melody to hang his lyrics on, and sometimes he comes up with something really nice.

What is an example of Hunter writing the music as well as the lyrics?

^^^I guess I didn't see it as dissing Robert, but I can see how it can be read that way. Also, I think Robert wrote most of the music on the Tiger Rose album, but don't hold me to it. :think

Hunter's "Tales of the Great Rum Runners" album comes to mind too.

"Boys in the Barroom" is a favorite.

"It Must Have Been the Roses" is also a Hunter song.

Good music comes out of people playing together, knowing what they want to do and going for it. You have to sweat over it and bug it to death. You can't do it by pushing buttons and watching a TV screen.
