Good first show!! I had fun hanging out with you guys! I gotta say, I was expecting more than four Barlow songs in Bob's first public performance since his passing, but he must be saving them for the rest of the weekend. Peace everyone!

A nice show, if a little slow a times. Now a night off (or with JRAD) tomorrow, and then two more shows from the beach! Hopefully Nugs will get their act together, it was clean for the last few songs. :clap

Good night, folks! See you on the couch on Saturday!! :sunshine

They'll get in gear for Saturday.

And thanks for keeping everything in gear tonight, Sue!

Good night everyone!

I thought the show was terrific...streams were tough at times but you could tell it was from the high wind. I love the pace...smooth and silky. Huge improv last night...those jams are all covering new territory. U can clearly hear JM moving to different galaxies...the learning curve is over lol. As far as the reggae, I recently read an article with Oteil where he said Bob often hears and interprets music from a reggae perspective and that they were gonna start running with it. :bears2
Dug that show :clap

I am relistening to it this morning and I think that it is a pretty hot show. Tour openers often have a strange energy, not good or bad but just different. RockstarRichard is saying it was the best Dead Co show ever and he has seen more than anyone else.

I'm about to listen :listen . I'll report back if I hear anything worth noting. Perhaps Richard is a little caught up in the (massive) moment. He seems like a good guy, but maybe is a tad bit of a sensationalist. Can't wait to re-hear this Scarlet>Fire and the Estimated, along with the Looks Like Rain.

Agreed K.C. I tend to invert the common wisdom and don't believe you can really judge any show that you were at.

Most here are probably hooked up already, but I will be collecting MP3 boards for the entire, short tour here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1clvga ... VFM_7iDBzm
