Oh yeah, one more thing: take cash. Most places are still working on a cash-only basis. At least, that's how it is in Oregon. Banks are still leary of working with a quasi-legal industry.
One shop I went to had a "cashless atm" that was hooked up to their register and looked the exact same as a credit card machine. Upon using that "cashless atm" the exact amount of money due for the purchase was taken from my credit card and given to the merchant. However, since it's a "cashless atm" no bank can conclude that was a credit card transaction to purchase items that are federally illegal. God do I love loopholes!!!! :rofl

^^^ That's a good idea tbh. That's why dispensaries get robbed so much all the cash they have to move around.

If I were a robber ( which I swear I am not) I would be equally happy robbing their product.

Indica Indica Indica
I’m with Griff but for different reasons
Like taking a big Valium. Always preferred the V’s and ludes over the powder. Hence Indica over sativa
Slows the mind = less judging / thinkin & more :listen
But we’re all different
That’s why I don’t smoke much anymore...Indica hard to find in NH
Thank god for paper...just need a free 18 hour window :guitarred

I recommend a shop called Village Green Society. It's right downtown and they sell 8ths of shake for $20, but it's not like shake as in trash of the crop, it's shake like totally covered in crystals super finely ground up and pretty much the best deal in town if you don't care enough to physically break down yer own buds. Happy little shop with happy folks, quick in quick out never any major lines. It's a hidden gem though most people will likely be recommending Terrapin Care Station throughout the week, but they're overpriced and generally have long lines, it's a Shakedown shop. Go VGS!

As for strains, ask for whatever has the highest THC percentage. I generally prefer sativa strains unless I'm mixing em which is always fun aswell.

Enjoy the little taste of freedom & push for it in your home when you get back!
A friend of mine recommended The Farm in Boulder. Any thoughts on them?
I haven't been there since back when it was medical card only, but quality was very nice kinda hefty prices back then, I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped since however

Talk with the people in the shop about what sativa, indica, and hybrid strains they have and what effect you like. Indica is gonna be your super heady high, brain fart, duhhhhh stuff. Sativa is more of a body high, sometimes more uplifting. But, those are SUPER generalizations. Look at em. Smell em. Everyone likes different stuff.

This is the opposite of conventional thought

https://greenly.me/indica-sativa-marijuana-strains/

"In general, the high produced from smoking an Indica cannabis is a strong physical body high that will make you feel deeply relaxed, while the feeling from a Sativa high is more energetic and uplifting. "

but neither is probably right

https://hightimes.com/grow/understandin ... vs-sativa/

I prefer Sativa strains based on all the ones I've tried.

Indica hard to find in NH
This is very odd as Indica strains are much easier to find overall from my experience. Indica strains tend to have a better smell and a shorter flowering period, which make them desirable for growers. It's realistic to grow Indica strains outdoors in much of the country whereas Sativa strains are much harder due to the length of their flowering period. The whole explosion of growing in the US (which initially was mostly outdoor grows) was due to the introduction of Indica based strains...
