My opinion of appalling fan behavior: 1987 Philly JFK, Dylan and the GD, packed ga field, we are near the soundboard and this guy decides to take a leak right there.
Sorry, but I really had to go
You could have at least tried to hold it in.
I tried....but when you gotta go you gotta go. The show was too good to have to spend time in the potty line.
Standing on the moon with nothing left to do
A lovely view of heaven but I'd rather be with you.

And Dodger stadium was bad in front of the stage but fine to the side.
I have found this to be true most times that I've been in the pit for deadco shows...i.e. get to the sides Caraolanne...get to the sides Luke

also if u can get in early & really enjoy the 1st set up close...easier to hang back a bit in 2nd set...get a little more breathing & dance room

and if u really feel the need to get back up front for part of 2nd set - make your move during drums when people are fleeing the heat of the front during drums ;)
Shall we go...you & I while we can...
7/8 TTB
7/11 Yes
7/14 Dark Side of Mule
7/20 JRAD
7/21 Eagles
7/30 Bearly Dead GD Night @ Fenway

Appalling fan behavior on the west coast?, do tell more
In the old days California shows were laid back
Last time on the left coast was Furthur New year's at Bill Graham and the cig smoker's would leave the hall to smoke.
Are you saying you didn't like the setlist in Eugene?
I watched the videos of the Eugene show last night, and I was clearly elsewhere when I was there, because I loved the setlist.
It takes time to pick a place to go ...
