I'm just listening to my first stream of Ghost Light (Holly Bowling, Tom Hamilton, Steve Lyons, Raina Mullen, Scotty Zwang) and really like what I hear. Better yet, Ann Arbor is on their tour schedule so I can check them out! Has anyone seen them yet or have any comments or opinions? :listen :dance

I've got my tickets for Ann Arbor now! It's perfect timing, too: the show is Friday night, and coverage of Prince Harry's Saturday royal wedding in London should be starting not too long after we get home from the show, so I can just make an all-nighter of it. Substitute tea and crumpets for the usual grilled cheese!

short summary is very good...way better live in person than the streams or recording sound

the 30 minute ??? Tangled Up in Blue in the 1st set was worth the $12 ticket cost by itself :jumpeveryone

Got a nice Greatest Story in the 2nd set.

I need to see a setlist cuz pretty sure there was another cover of a song that a couple of us just couldn't put our fingers on it.

A lot of their originals in both sets which are very good...

At times a harder rock edge...some thought like Umphreys or maybe even moe for parts of a song, esp in the 2nd set, but not overwhelming like that & def not a bad thing by any means...

a lot of folks purposely had NOT listened to any of their music prior to seeing them sat nite...i was not 1 of them,, but i came away like them a lot better live

it was a small club. like 280 capacity, sold out, very crowded & hot...i hung towards the back for more breathing room

came on at 920, short break like less than 20 minutes i think & with encore played to like 1230 ish

i think this band will stick, charge more than $12 & play a bigger venue next time they return to Boston

go see them if u can...real fun & well worth the $$

ps i don't think i saw anyone leave at set break or bitch about the palying...at all :whistle

Thanks for the review bones! Can't wait to see these guys and gals! I've been purposefully avoiding listening to much of them. I've only listened to about a half an hour or so of content.

Saw Holly solo here in St. Louis just a little bit ago -- excellent performance. Will see again.
