They're both mine. The writing on the left is scrawled during the show in the dark and under the influence, on the right is being neat and careful back home in the light of day in my GD scrapbook. Hardly any difference at all, right?!

Interesting to note it was Ashes to Ashes to me then. I don't think I was the only one who didn't get the Throwing Stones title correct right off the bat, though. :sunshine

"Escape Wisconsin"? Not quite yet..

On this day; June 24, 1983 the mayor of Madison, WI proved he was a very cool dude. Wonder if he was at the show that night.
See for yourself whether you think he'd of had a good time. Methinks so, as did we.

Today I am highlighting- a day late- The FIRST Other Ones tour opener 20 years ago, 6/25/98 in Hotlanta and 6/26/98 in Charlotte. I actually acquired the 6/26 tape a couple weeks after the show. That was the first time, at 11 years old, I had heard anything that was post-Dead (started getting into the Dead less than a year earlier). Mighty fine stuff here, folks!

Today I'm highlighting a show I remember my dad having on tape when I was growing up, down to the handwriting on the cassette label! :rofl and what great music included within, of course! And some funny banter as well- watch yourself in the balcony!

6/27/85 SPAC - another grate 20th anniversary show!
