Every year on 6/20, I make sure to listen to the lighting-warped Wharf Rat from 6/20/83 Merriweather. Phil's bombs are everything. And that Sunshine Daydream, if you haven't heard...do it.

Here's another show I had to throw in for today, as well as yesterday. I have to agree with David Lemieux that these were some of the best shows of the 90's, but of course I'm biased. Tone Weaver and I are in that picture. Dave was taping, and we were immediately behind the soundboard at the back of the pavilion and we got to chat with Dan Healy throughout the show. That was particularly fun, but both nights were a blast!! :dance

We're all headed to Alpine tonight, either virtually or in reality, and 33 years ago today, 6/22/1985, some of us were also at Alpine for the second night of an absolutely incredible run. That show was one of my very, very favorites. I got a surprise Keep on Growing and it was my first live Sailor/Saint. Plus (pardon me if you've heard this before), I met a really hot taper in the parking lot who never went away. Thank you, Jerry!! :sunshine :bigheart
