There are many Grate shows on 4/8 (what are yours?), but here is what I'm listening to: 4/8/78 in Florida. Nice LL > Sup, and Scarlet Fire transition jam.

After work today, I'll be poppin this baby on: 4/9/91 Orlando. I like the whole show, but they are right - the Foolish Heart outro jam is GRATE! Bruce leads the jam at one point and I really loved it. The Space is pretty enjoyable as well! Other One, I heard Bob start off in my left ear and trail off/echo in my right...Wharf Rat is magnificent as well!

Here are couple more good ones from today and yesterday, from the UIC Pavilion in the heart of Chicago. Shows were great, the sleazy hotel under the highway exit ramp, not so much! :listen

I've got 4/10/01 Ratdog in Knoxville cued up today, something different. I liked the Shakedown > Walkin Blues > EZ Answers set 1 opener so far. Pretty enjoyable show all around.

I'm listening to another off-the-beaten path show today, 4/12/82 Nassau. I like this TN Jed, LL Rain, Sugaree, and WOW the additional key change in Estimated! I think I added this to my to-listen list because it's the first time they did that. It's right near the end, a few minutes before UJB. Other One is a rager.

Spring in the 80's meant Midwest shows! Today in 1988 was the first of a wonderful 3-night run at Rosemont Horizon. First set started with Mississippi Half Step>Feel Like A Stranger>Franklin's, which sure got everyone moving right off the bat! And the parking lot was great- nothing like a bunch of stoners gaping up open-mouthed going "Whoa, cool!!" at the O'Hare-bound airplanes flying low right over the lot!

Today we are back on the Europe 72 tour, with the 4/14/72 from Denmark. DS > SM > GL > Caution > WDYL > Caution > GL = WOW! :listen

Listening to Dark Star now (9pm) and pay attn to 2 minutes in, Jerry goes off! And wow this DS is amazing!!! Around 21-22 minutes, a nice long Groovy Jam starts. Sugar mag tease inside Groovy/Mountain Jam. Around 28 minutes Keith does a cool riff. Leads into Sugar Mag. Love Jerry’s intro to Sugar Mag!! I like the first Pig rap in good Lovin. Turn ya every way but loose rap about 8 min. 16 min know she’s cookin bacon I can smell it a mile away rap. Who do u love flows so perfectly out of and into Caution. Then another seamless transition back into Good Lovin. This is best-of status Good Lovin and Caution!!! I think this is the OMSN from Europe 72 album.
