I have seen where the wolf has slept by the silver stream.
I can tell by the mark he left, you were in his dream.

Can't forget the birth of the Rat!!!

Check out one of the most famous Cap Theatre runs 2/18-20/71!

2/19/71, as you might know, is Three From the Vault.

There's a beautiful jam on 2/18 you should check out:

Today we venture to 2/21/73 in Champaign, IL for what my dad calls "the best show ever." (Not that it's a one-show-only category).

I would have you check out this Eyes first, and even the closing Truckin jam before it. ESPECIALLY the tail-end and intro to Stella Blue. Magnificent.

This was my first show. I was a freshman @ Uof I at the time. Spent the whole show (& the following night on 2-22-73) leaning up against the stage right in front of Phil.
Good Times.

Another famous run of shows began this day in 1969!

2/27/69 Fillmore West, home of the Live/Dead Dark Star and a pretty perfect Other One suite, which was later released on the So Many Roads box set.

Oh and that now OOP Fillmore West box set...which I don’t have... :doh

Enjoy kiddos!

I would be remiss if I didn't post one of my dad's favorite shows, 3/1/69 Fillmore West!
