As expected, Gretchen received great care during her kennel stay at the vet while I was dancin' at the Cap to JRAD. :D
I've worked in a boarding kennel before, and most dogs do just fine at the kennel. Quite a few truly love to stay at a doggie hotel.
Gretchen is doing very well. No seizures on the reduced pheno doseage. Her sweet personality is back. She still paces a bit, but much less, and she settles down and relaxes. Our cuddle and pet routines are back. She is still peeing in the house, so, I have to confine her to the tiled den when I'm not around. Her urine culture came back positive, so, she is on an antibiotic for UTI, hope that ends the pee in house routine.
Thanks again for good vibes. This sweetheart sure deserves some quality time after a lifetime of abuse. :bigheart

Congrats! So will Gretchen go on summer tour with you or will she be boarded at a kennel?

Because of her seizures, she will board at the veterinarian where I work. I'm not a big fan of taking dogs on tour anyway.

Gretchen is doing great.

She sends 'dog' Easter wishes:

May the Easter bunny come to your house, and poop in your yard.
