Best $50 i spent for 2 shows in some time :dance

Friday wasn't as busy crazy at the beach scene nor sold out so more dance room

2nd set friday was off the hook...original, elective whatever show

all of saturday was OUTSTANDING - the Stranger opener & Franklins had so much energy almost JRAD-esque & worth the $25 just to hear those 2 songs alone,,,2nd set NFA samdwich with Scarlet Fire real nice...9-18-88

And YES all the > for sat 2nd set were real...non stop flow all set long...crazy good

GO SEE LIVE MUSIC!!!

Setlists below...

Quick discussion point I always call the Brent tune Never Trust a Woman (who wears her pants too tight...she may love u tomorrow...but she'll be gone tomorrow night)

But it's listed as Good Time Blues & sometimes shortened to just Good Times ?

It will always be Never Trust a Woman to me...thoughts??

But, then again we had alternate names for Throwin Stones (Ashes to Ashes) and Touch of Gray (We Will Survive) before word spread with official names

Just got back from David Grisman and Tommy Emmanuel, a wonderful acoustic show and my first live show since January, so it was BIG fun!! Talk about some classic picking! We even got a very nice Friend of the Devil, with a Fire on the Mountain jam in the middle, and an upbeat Shady Grove. First time I've seen David Grisman, and it was so good to put a face with the music!! :guitarred

Wow Sue looks like you guys had a great time & looks kinda similar to the Del & Dawg show I saw in April - similar to even the side that Grisman sits on...just replace Del McCoury for Tommy Emanuelsen...

Herring and John McLaughlin last night in Boston...loved every precious moment. Didn't realize Jason Crosby was part of Herring's Invisible Whip. And wow, did he play a big part...especially when the two bands collaborated for the third set. John actually walked over and gave him a fist pump after a long violin solo to which put a huge smile on Jason's face. Hats off to all the musicians there. Bravo

Shawn Colvin w/ Larry & Theresa 2017-11-10 The Egg in Albany

Larry & Theresa opened; they then joined Shawn Colvin and her band. Good show although the many stories they told probably took more time than the actual music...

Pevar is in Crosby's band? I might have to go see him now...

I love Larry and Teresa...solo and combined with JK, my favorite Phriends lineup by far.

Yeah, Pevar been with Crosby for a bit now. Doing a lot of CPR stuff too. Real pretty
