Terrapin Crossroads Shows

Postby Chester » Fri Jun 26, 2015 7:12 pm

Just going to start a regular TXR show thread. There are a few shows coming up I wanted to mention. 8-)

First, Phil Lesh & Friends celebrate 1978, at TXR!
On Thursday, July 16th Phil Lesh, along with Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Rob Barraco, Ezra Lipp, Alex Koford, & Elliott Peck,
will play the songs from one of Phil's favorite shows in 1978!
This show is currently sold out. But I imagine they will be streaming this on show night.

Second, Saturday, August 1st 2015, Stu Allen & Mars Hotel celebrate Jerry Garcia’s Birthday in the Grate Room.
Stu will bring his band back to Terrapin Crossroads, for a retrospective evening celebrating the life & music of Jerry Garcia.
Tickets for this show are on sale now. https://store.terrapincrossroads.net/st ... el-aug-1st
Hoping they will stream this as well. 8-)

As a "last but not least" mention, NRPS is playing two shows in the Grate Room, July 25th & 26th.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.
Who you are, and what you do,
Don't make no difference to me.

Phil Lesh & Friends will celebrate 1979 at TXR, on Sunday, July 19th, in the Grate room! Showtime is 8 pm PT.
Phil Lesh, will be joined by Stu Allen, Rob Eaton, Rob Barraco, Ezra Lipp & Alex Koford
1979 marked 14 years of music for The Grateful Dead. Keyboardist Brent Mydland joined the band in April.
They played in 41 cities; some, including New York, NY and Oakland, CA, were visited multiple times between the beginning and end of the year.
'79 was also the birth year of songs that we know and love; Althea, Lost Sailor and Saint of Circumstance.

Tickets for this show are already sold out.

I wish I could see some of these TXR shows, but I just can't pay $7 when I lose my internet connection many times a day. I never get to see any TXR shows :(

That 1979 line up looks great! With Stu and the Robs, along with the great young drummers, this one will be a winner! :dance

It's time to head back to 1979 tonight, I'm sure I'll be getting some high school graduation flashbacks from that year!! :dance
